There’s a time for pranks and a time to be serious. Hugh Grant was trying to be serious and have a good time at the Amsterdam premiere of his romantic comedy “Music and Lyrics” when a fan ran up and handcuffed herself to him as he strode across the red carpet.

Unfortunately, the woman did not have the keys, and the police and fire rescue had to be called to cut off the cuffs. She turned out to be from a Dutch prank TV show, and she spent two hours at the police station before being released. What a long day for Grant!

Jack Harlow Shows Some Love

Celebrities and reporters are one duo that seems to give us the best moments on television and during interviews. While some celebrities don’t seem to enjoy interviews during red carpet events, Jack Harlow is not one of them, as he seemed overexuberant during an interview with Emma Chamberlain at the 2022 MET Gala.

At the end of the interview, Chamberlain, who was interviewing for “Vogue,” told Harlow that she would see him inside, and he replied, “Can’t wait. Love ya. Bye.” She murmured “Love Ya” back before immediately turning her facial expression into one of the most hilarious the internet has ever seen.

Celebrities are influential, especially when they are teen idols, as Selena Gomez was in 2007. We can all recall the wave of blue hair streaks that caught up with the teenagers then, and it turns out she was the one who started the trend.

Gomez was attending the 2007 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party when she pulled off the new hairstyle. When asked, she claimed that she just liked “a little edge and pop in her hair” and “wanted to add something different for the party,” and while four years later, she seemed embarrassed by the moment, it got teenagers rushing to stores for blue hair dye.

Journalists love to be at their best for interviews with celebrities, including doing their research to avoid embarrassment. However, it seems not everyone was familiar with Mayim Bialik’s past in 2014, as a couple of TNT interviewers during the SAG Awards found themselves on her wrong side.

What had started as an innocent interview took a different turn when one interviewer asked Bialik how many people she could solve calculus at the drop of a hat, relating to her role in “The Big Bang Theory.” However, she studied calculus and is a neuroscientist, and the interviewers were utterly embarrassed by their comments.
