While Emma Watson has been a strong woman in the industry for quite some time now, she was once captured by this feeling of attraction towards her Harry Potter co-star Tom Felton.

On several different occasions, the Beauty and The Best star has recounted the feelings she had for Felton during their filming of the movies in the franchise. She has also stated that she had talked about this with The Rise of The Planet Of The Apes star, and how despite his polite rejection of her feelings, both of them have stayed good friends over the years. During the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts, the star recalled when she fell in love with him. She said:

“I walked into the room where we were having tutoring, The assignment that had been given was to draw what you thought God had looked like and Tom had drawn a girl with a backward cap on a skateboard. And I just don’t know how to say it, I just fell in love with him.”

Although they never got together in a relationship, they had a great time just being buddies with each other, while also experiencing love and heartbreak at an earlier age.

While Felton might not have been attracted to Watson the same way she did, he definitely had a crush on another co-star from the franchise. in 2011, the star revealed that when he was growing up, he had a small crush on Helena Bonham-Carter, who played the role of Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter series. He said:

“I had a little boy crush on Helena Bonham Carter, she is completely unique, an English rose with a crazy twist, she wears vintage French clothing and she’s very cheeky. Off the set it’s all hugs and darlings, then when the camera starts rolling she turns into a complete psycho. It’s amazing to watch.”

Just goes to show how the sentiment of attraction can happen with anyone, and how sometimes it leads to different places other than a romantic relationship.
