Emma Watson’s Lost Her Composure During an Interview

Emma Watson is known for her professionalism and keeping her composure in public. However, the Harry Potter actress almost lost it during an interview while promoting the second last installment in the fantasy adventure franchise Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1.

The interview started smoothly as she shared that she has been a fan of J.K. Rowling’s book series because her father used to read it to her as bedtime stories. She also shared that she was not told not to share the news with anyone when she landed the role in the movie adaptation.

However, halfway through the interview, she burst into laughter when the interviewer mentioned that she had been starring in the franchise for nearly a decade. Her contagious laughter soon made everyone in the room laugh with her.

The actress tried to keep it under control and asked to stop the interview for a few seconds. After composing herself, she said, “Sorry, someone just said something to me, and I just can’t get it together.” The Little Women actress laughed it out and apologized to the interviewer before continuing the interview.

“I wasn’t very happy if I’m being honest. I think I felt a bit caged,” she said. The 33-year-old actress shared that she “didn’t have very much control” over the creation or decision-making process, and she did not want to do a project that didn’t align with her personal beliefs.

It was very difficult to have to be the face and the spokesperson for things where I didn’t get to be involved in the process,” she said during the interview. Watson also stated that she is open to returning and is waiting “for the next right thing,” stating that she loves what she does.
