HARRY Potter star Jamie Waylett looks unrecognisable in recent photos after two years in prison.

Vincent Crabbe, played Jamie Waylett in J.K Rowling’s novel adaptation, lives an entirely different life from his child actor days.

The now 34-year-old former actor was famously known for playing one-half of Draco Malfoy’s entourage, Vincent Crabbe.

He featured in six films before being axed from the last two after he was caught growing cannabis.

After many promising acting years, the child star had another run-in with the law for his involvement in the London riots in 2011.

He was arrested for his involvement in the riots for violent disorder and handling stolen goods, which was a bottle of champagne from Sainsbury’s.

During his trial, the jury heard how Jamie was pictured on a “number of occasions with a bottle full of petrol with a rag as a wick.”

In the end, the judge ruled that although he did not throw or intend to throw it, merely “being in possession of it would have been terrifying” for onlookers.

At his Wood Green Crown Court trial, his defence team expressed that Jamie was a “withered actor by the age of 22.”

They also stated that while being in the Harry Potter films was meant to change his life for the better, unfortunately, ‘it turned out to be not so good fortune’.

Currently, Jamie makes personalised videos on Cameo, a site where famous people charge fans £164 per clip for personal video messages.

The star’s recent video included him saying: “Slytherin for life.”

In another, he began: “Vincent Crabbe, straight outta’ Hogwarts.”

Jamie’s career boomed when he starred in many scenes throughout the film franchise, where he was often seen shadowing Slytherin BNOC Draco.

One iconic scene saw Hermione Granger (played by Emma Watson) drug Crabbe and his double act partner Gregory Goyle with enchanted cupcakes.

Not long after, Harry Potter (Daniel Radcliffe) and his best mate Ron Weasley (Rupert Grint) take a potion concocted using a strand of Crabbe and Goyle’s hair.

This resulted in the wizards transforming into the Slytherins in order to get information from Malfoy.

Jamie’s acting career seemingly stopped after he was taken off filming from the Harry Potter franchise, and now it is unsure whether he will pursue his acting career again.
