But Emma Watson doesn’t seem to have any difficulty in forging a friendship with her withered romantic endeavors. If anything, she seems to bear a particular talent for transmuting her amorous relationships into platonic equations.

Although the English actress hasn’t had much luck in her love life, her failed dates have certainly bestowed the Beauty and the Beast star with friends for life. “What’s really nice is,” Watson, 33, told Vogue, “Some of my best friends are people I got set up on a date with, and it didn’t work out.”

And it’s actually great.”

Up until a while ago, the model had been linked to Brandon Green, the son of British businessman Sir Philip Green, for well over a year before the couple called it quits. Weeks after her breakup though, Watson was spotted sunbathing and flush in love in Italy with Ryan Walsh, an American businessman who apparently swooned her with his wit and charm.

In light of the same, an insider recently revealed to The Sun that Watson “loves a bloke who can match her intelligence,” claiming that she is “enjoying spending time with him” because of the same. As per the source, the two have known each other for quite a while before they were spotted relishing a dinner in Venice during what has been deemed a romantic getaway.

Neither Watson nor Walsh has confirmed or denied these rumors yet.
