Singer Grimes – Elon Musk’s ex-girlfriend – said it was difficult to contact the billionaire, having to go to at least 12 places to send him custody paperwork.

According to Business Insider on Nov. 11, Grimes hired four people to serve the proceedings to send the papers to Elon. According to court documents, between Oct. 13 and 20, they searched for the billionaire in locations such as Company X’s headquarters in San Francisco, SpaceX’s launch site in Boca Chica, Texas, Tesla’s factory in Austin, his private jet, and a horse farm near the Colorado River, but were unable to contact him. After that, the Grimes side was forced to leave papers at the billionaire’s company X, Tesla and SpaceX.

Under California law, legal papers must be sent to the person involved in the lawsuit. If papers are not submitted properly and on time, the court cannot continue to process the proceedings.

Elon Musk secretly sued his ex Grimes on Sept. 13, before she did the same on Sept. 29. In the filing, Musk said that since the birth of his three children, he has been taking close care of them for “at least six months straight” in Texas, where the billionaire settled.

He also accused Grimes of “trying to circumvent the law” of a Texas court by claiming she was not a resident of the state, even though they lived in the same house with their children for months there.

The billionaire is seeking to establish a written agreement with the Canadian singer regarding conservatorship and custody of his three children. Musk preferred, eager to reconcile with Grimes first. If he can’t come to a consensus, he expects the Texas court to make a decision.

A parenthood lawsuit is a method of identifying a child’s legal parents without a wedding, often used to initiate proceedings against child custody orders or child support requests.

Grimes and billionaire Elon Musk have been dating since 2018, after meeting on social media. The Tesla billionaire found it interesting to read a tweet Grimes wrote about artificial intelligence and texted her to get to know her. The pair went public with their relationship at the Met Gala fashion party in New York that same year. In 2020, the two had their first child together. The singer named the baby X Æ A-12. However, they announced their split in September 2021.

They then resumed their relationship and had their second child – Exa Dark Sideræl (Y for short) – in December 2021. In March 2022, Grimes announced his split from Elon Musk for the second time. In September, Elon Musk confirmed he had a third child with Grimes, named Techno Mechanicus, at unknown time.

Grimes, born 1988, real name Claire Elise Boucher, is a popular Canadian experimental music singer. Her works blend a variety of musical materials such as hip hop, dream pop and R&B. The singer has more than 2.4 million followers on Instagram thanks to her musical talent and unique fashion sense.

Elon Musk has 11 children with three women. He and his first wife Justine Wilson had six children, with the first son dying at just 10 weeks old. In addition to his three children with Grimes, Musk also has twins, Strider and Azure, with Shivon Zilis, the female head of neurotechnology company Neuralink.
