Antonio Brown is back at it again making insane accusations.

Antonio Brown claimed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers gave him hush money to keep quiet about his injury during his final year in the league. He also posted money and a check to prove it.

Ultimately, this is a pretty big accusation from Antonio Brown, but this money could’ve been for anything.

This is hardly the first time he has said something about the Bucs.

Speaking with Bryant Gumbel on HBO’s Real Sports last year, Antonio Brown claimed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offered him money to seek mental health treatment to help perpetuate the narrative it was the former All-Pro’s mental state that led to his dismissal from the team and made him “not reliable to do a good job on the field.”

“These guys at Tampa Bay Bucs tried to make an agreement with me to give me $200,000 to go to the crazy house so these guys could look like they know what they talking about,” Brown told Gumbel. He later added, “I have mental wealth.”

The NFL is unlikely to investigate his claims as they are trying to stay as far away from him as possible.

Brown hasn’t played in the NFL since he jogged off the field during a late-season game in the 2021 season as a member of the Buccaneers. Tampa promptly released him after that game, and no team has considered signing Brown since.

His ugly divorce from Tampa is likely among the reasons teams have stayed away from him. He has had countless off-field issues that recently included an arrest warrant over unpaid child support.

Brown was released from New England after just one game in 2019 after the NFL began investigating him for multiple accusations of inappropriate sexual behavior, including rape.

What was once a promising Hall of Fame career ended terribly for a player who clearly has mental health issues.
