Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce surprised teammate Chris Jones during a lighthearted moment at practice on Wednesday, adding some humor to their preparations for an upcoming AFC matchup against the Buffalo Bills.

During the team’s indoor practice session, Kelce spotted Jones from a distance and decided to spring into action.

Kelce dashed over and launched himself into the air, playfully pretending that he was playing basketball. Mimicking a slam dunk, Kelce “dunked” on Jones, causing the defensive star to tumble harmlessly to the turf.

Both men laughed as teammates helped Jones back up, with Kelce joining in to lend a hand.

Jones took the prank in stride, sharing a humorous reaction afterward.

“He caught me slipping,” Jones reacted to New Heights’ post on X, adding a laugh.

As key figures in the Chiefs’ undefeated season so far, both Kelce and Jones have been instrumental in the team’s 15-game winning streak, including this season’s 9-0 record.

They’re now setting their sights on another crucial game against Buffalo, which they narrowly defeated in last season’s AFC Divisional Round.

Kelce and Jones will both be looking to extend Kansas City’s success as the season intensifies.
