Endrick, Real Madrid’s future soccer talent, joined the Celtics for one day. The 17-year-old Brazilian player is a renowned basketball and NBA fan and took advantage of a visit to Boston to go to the TD Garden and witness the victory over the Cavaliers. There he was able to chat and exchange autographed jerseys with Jayson Tatum, the big local star.

The young player is enjoying a vacation after being decisive in Palmeiras’ second title in the Brasileirao. Accompanied by his parents, he also takes the opportunity to fulfill advertising commitments for New Balance, the sports brand that dresses him, whose headquarters are in Boston.

This same week, Endrick will fly to Spain, as he has been invited by Florentino Pérez to see the Valdebebas facilities and the new Santiago Bernabéu. It is likely that he will also witness the clash against Villarreal in the stadium on the 17th.

The white coliseum will be his home starting in July 2024, when he turns 18 and he can sign for Real Madrid.

BREAKING: Boston Celtics Release 3-Year NBA Player

On Tuesday evening, the Boston Celtics will host the Cleveland Cavaliers in Massachusetts.

Before the game, the team announced that they had waived Nathan Knight.

Via The Celtics: “We have waived Nathan Knight.”

Knight joined the Celtics on a two-way contract in October but never appeared in an NBA game with the team.

The 26-year-old has played three seasons in the NBA for the Atlanta Hawks and Minnesota Timberwolves.

His career averages are 3.7 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest while shooting 47.6% from the field and 26.5% from the three-point range in 108 regular season games.

He has also appeared in eight NBA playoff games and was with the Hawks when they reached the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021.

Now that Knight will become a free agent, he will be a name to watch, as another team could sign him.

The Celtics will now have an open two-way roster spot, so they could sign a player at some point soon.

They are currently the first seed in the Eastern Conference with a 16-5 record in their first 21 games.

Most recently, the Celtics defeated the New York Knicks by a score of 133-123.

Derrick White had his best game of the season and put up 30 points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks while shooting 10/16 from the field and 6/10 from the three-point range in 32 minutes of playing time.

Following Tuesday’s game, the Celtics will host the Cavs (again) on Thursday in Boston, Massachusetts.
