Paris Hilton eschewed a now-familiar pattern of celebrities responding defensively to fan criticism after a video featuring her two young children sparked concern from her followers.

On Tuesday, the 42-year-old heiress — who recently admitted she’s ‘learning to say no’ to jobs in order to focus on her family — shared a sweet video to her Instagram and TikTok stories that showed her 11-month-old son Phoenix and her eight-week-old daughter London snoozing soundly in the same nursery.

Phoenix looked adorable in the video as he snoozed while covered up with a fuzzy white blanket.

But some fans who caught the videos before they disappeared became alarmed over the density of blankets in the little boy’s crib, as they worried they could potentially become a smothering hazard.

‘Sleepy. So cute,’ Paris whispered as she stared down at her child in the clip. ‘Oh. This little face.’

The closeup video then moved around the room to hone in on little London. She was fast asleep in a bassinet set up next to Phoenix’s crib.

‘Oh, the princess,’ Paris said as she looked at the little girl.

It’s unclear what Instagram users may have been saying to Paris on her Insta Stories, as those are only seen by the poster, but on TikTok, where the comments were visible, several viewers made their concerns about the overabundance of blankets in Phoenix’s crib known.

‘Paris I love this so much! Be sure to check on safe sleep practices for your sweet little babies,’ wrote one particularly diplomatic commenter, via People.

‘Thank you for letting me know❤️,’ Paris replied politely.

Later on Wednesday, the reality star posted another cute video of Phoenix, this time highlighting his walking skills.

He looked cute in a powder blue onesie while he sauntered over to a metallic trashcan via his baby walker.

He moved closer to the trash can and attempted to pry the lid open, but his mother repeatedly told him, ‘No.’

Paris humorously captioned the video, ‘Me telling my friend not to go back to their toxic ex.’

After she got through to Phoenix and he decided to leave the trash alone, he zoomed forward toward her, and she complimented him with a ‘good boy.’

But some fans commented over concerns that Phoenix's crib was dangerously overstuffed with blankets

Paris’ latest cute clips of her children arrive after she detailed her struggles ‘balancing it all’ as a working mom after welcoming her bundles of joy last year.

The reality star, who welcomed her children with husband Carter Reum via surrogate, told CNN that she was learning to turn down work to ensure she could spend as much time with her children as possible.

She said: ‘The one thing is being a working mom and balancing it all, I have a crazy schedule so I am learning to say no and trying to spend as much time as possible with my little ones.’

Giving an update on London, who arrived in November, Paris — who is worth an estimated $300 million — said: ‘She is doing amazing, my little princess, I feel over the moon, we are so in love with her, my life is so complete now.

‘I feel so complete with my baby boy and baby girl.’

Opening up about the shock arrival of London, Paris, who memorably kept 11-month old Phoenix’s impending birth a secret from her entire family, said: ‘My mom and sister knew but they didn’t know when.’

The heiress wished her 25.9M social media followers a Merry Christmas on Monday with a series of holiday snaps with her ‘beautiful family of four.’

‘Merry Christmas from the Hilton-Reums!’ the blonde beauty exclaimed in an Instagram caption.

‘At the beginning of 2023, I could never have imagined the happiness and gratitude I would feel in this moment ❤️ My beautiful family of four, my fairytale dream come true,’ she continued.

In the snaps, the fabulous foursome dons matching red tartan pajamas while seated on what appear to be the staircase in Paris’ home alongside her little dog who is dressed in a Santa suit.

Baby Phoenix, who turns one this month, showed off two teeth in a few smiley pictures with mom.

Paris previously admitted that having her children via surrogacy was a ‘difficult decision to make’.

During the season two premiere of Paris in Love, the  socialite opened up about her choice and confessed that she ‘would have loved’ being pregnant.

Because of her life in the spotlight, however, she and her husband, Carter, 42, opted to have their children via surrogacy instead.

‘The surrogacy process, it was definitely a difficult decision to make,’ she explained in the beginning of the debut episode.

The entrepreneur explained: ‘But my life has just been so public.’

She admitted on her reality TV show that she ‘would have loved that experience of growing the baby in your tummy and feeling the kicks and all of those exciting moments.’

Hilton said that out of precaution for their health and safety, she chose to have a surrogate carry and deliver their biological baby Phoenix.

‘So even though the baby is biologically mine and Carter’s, we decided to have a surrogate carry him,’ she explained.

In a confessional, her husband also echoed her concerns about their children’s safety and their family’s future.

‘Now having a family with Paris, we want our family to grow up and be normal and not always be known as Paris Hilton’s children,’ he said. ‘We have to think about safety.

‘When we go to the farmer’s market, it’s one thing if someone stops and asks Paris for a photo,’ he continued. ‘It’s a whole other thing with the baby in tow in a stroller.

‘I don’t think we know everything the journey’s gonna throw at us, but we’re just gonna tackle it as we go,’ he added.
