2024 has begun, and the NBA community is in a happy mood. The Curry family also started the new year with a bang as Stephen Curry’s wife, Ayesha Curry, revealed how they spent the first day of 2024. We all know what Steph can do on a golf course. Last summer, he won the American Century Championship for celebrity golfers, taking the golfing world by storm.
To everyone’s surprise, Steph’s 5-year-old son, Canon Curry, is following in his father’s footsteps to start the new year. Ayesha Curry gave an inside look into Canon stepping into his father’s shoes on the first day of 2024.
Canon Curry is following in Steph’s footsteps
Ayesha Curry shared an Instagram story revealing how the Curry family started the new year. She shared a picture of her 5-year-old son playing golf, following in his father’s footsteps. Ayesha wrote, “Great first day of 2024! This is my mood.” It is great to see the youngest of the Curry family emulate his legendary father at such a young age. Last year, Steph also shared a video of Canon hitting insane trick shots on the basketball court. It looks like Canon is going to excel in multiple fields, just like his father, when he grows up.
Steph is one of the best players to ever step foot on an NBA court. He is a 4-time Champion, a 2-time MVP, a Finals MVP, and the best shooter in NBA history. But the Baby-Faced Assassin took his talent to the next level and mastered the sport of golf as well. He bagged $125,000 last summer after beating over 90 elite competitors at the American Century Championship. Steph also did a golf show, “Niiice Shot” featuring legends like Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth. Curry finished the year off by being awarded the Charlie Sifford Award for his spirit in advancing diversity in golf.
Steph and Ayesha are a great influence on their children
It comes as no surprise to see Canon, Riley, and Ryan Curry excelling in multiple fields at such a young age. They have two amazing parents to guide them through life. Steph is one of the most influential athletes in the sports world, and Ayesha has achieved incredible success in her realm. Ayesha is a successful entrepreneur, chef, actress, and author. The New York Times bestselling author is an inspiration for women across the globe.
With access to such inspirational individuals in their home, their children are destined to achieve great things. It will be exciting to see how Canon, Ryan, and Riley carry their parents’ legacy and make a name for themselves when they grow up.
