On Wednesday evening, Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors are hosting the New Orleans Pelicans at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

Curry is playing in his 917th career game, which moves ahead of Hall of Famer Tom Sanders and ties Danny Ferry for 237th on the NBA’s all-time regular season games played list.

Following Ferry, the next players for Curry to pass will be Serge Ibaka (919) and Robert Reid (919).

Curry came into the evening with averages of 27.1 points, 4.3 rebounds and 4.6 assists per contest while shooting 45.0% from the field and 39.8% from the three-point range in 34 games.

They are 5-5 over their last ten games and most recently lost to the Toronto Raptors (at home) by a score of 133-118.

Following the Pelicans, the Warriors will travel to Chicago to play the Bulls on Friday evening at the United Center.

Curry was the seventh pick in the 2009 NBA Draft and is in his 15th season in the league (all with Golden State).

His career averages are 24.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 6.4 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 47.4% from the field and 42.6% from the three-point range.
