NBA – After a criticized and fatal choice in the clutch, LeBron justified himself after his costly failed move:
“I didn’t… (video)
Trailing by 20 points late in the third quarter against Dallas this Wednesday, the Lakers almost won after an incredible comeback. However, LeBron James losing the ball prevented this situation, leading to a cash response from the Kings.
At the end of the first 36 minutes, many Lakers fans must have turned off the TV.
It must be said that at that time, Darvin Ham’s army was no less than 20 points behind the Mavericks and seemed unable to close the gap.
And yet, the fourth quarter almost saw them win after a crazy comeback in which LeBron James was heavily involved… before ruining it.
LeBron justifies himself after costly defeat
Determined not to give up even though the situation was not favorable for his team, LeBron really tried to give the Lakers a chance to win.
With 1 minute 16 left on the clock and after 16 points scored in the 4th QT, he restored his team’s advantage (101-99).
But after a 3-point shot by Kyrie Irving, he made a much more questionable choice in the final moments:

Despite his size advantage over Kyrie and the eight seconds to play before the final buzzer, LBJ likes to make a dunk in the direction of Anthony Davis that catches two under the circle.
Richaun Holmes happily blocked, before Irving sealed the success for the Mavs on the free throw line (104-101). Apparently questioned about this failed decisive action later, the King did not regret his decision:

Just a little too short. A bit too short. That was the right flow of the game, but as a midfielder my passes were a bit short and I couldn’t deliver the ball well to the receiver.
Did Davis deserve the ball given his size advantage over his two direct opponents, or should Bron have kept the ball and played the game against Kyrie? For him, the first solution is indeed the wisest. However, an opinion that many fans do not share.
For LeBron James, handing the ball to Anthony Davis caught second at the plate was the right move in the money run against the Mavericks.
Unfortunately for him, his poor execution prevented him from convincing all his fans on the subject.
