Rihanna Exposes Beyoncé’s Merciless Plot to Ruin Her Path to Success

Rihanna recently discussed a difficult period in her career when Beyoncé allegedly attempted to harm her success. Although the 80-word limit restricts a detailed summary, it is intriguing to know that Rihanna claims her fellow industry peer made a cruel effort to destroy her professional trajectory. The specifics and context behind this matter are not elaborated in the concise English article.

Yesterday, the official nominations for the 2017 Grammy Awards were announced, and while Beyoncé scored a cool 9 noms, some people were not happy with the results. Rihanna’s fans were quick to point out that while she landed an impressive 8 nods herself, the singer’s new project Anti wasn’t nominated for Album of the Year. (Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, Drake, and Adele are all up for the biggest award of the night.) Things took a turn for the worse when fans started assuming there was a feud between the two brewing beneath the surface. Of course, the whole thing went down over a peculiar Instagram like (what else?).

After Rihanna liked a post that argued the only reason Anti wasn’t nominated was so that Beyoncé would have less competition, fans were up in arms. However, Rihanna immediately went back to set the record straight, proclaiming that we need to “stop pitting black women against each other,” and generally stop creating drama over nothing.

The photo was from a fan account that claimed Rihanna was “snubbed,” and didn’t receive a Grammy nom because someone wanted to ensure that Beyoncé would definitely win. Now, it’s not unreasonable to see why liking such a post could make some people think there’s some tension between them (Ri did have a pretty important album out this year, too). However, Rihanna went back to the app to set the record straight, in a comment of the photo (which has since been deleted) she wrote:

“I never actually read your caption, thought the pic was funny and moved right along! Til I seen it pop up over and over! I’m petty af, yes. But this is just unnecessary! I wish y’all would drop this topic and see things from the bigger picture! We don’t need to be putting black women against each other! We deserve to be celebrated, and the Grammy Academy agrees!”

Preach it, Rihanna! It’s important to remember that sometimes, all is not as it seems, and not everything is necessarily drama waiting to be unveiled.

As Ri says: move along, nothing more to see here.
