ROYAL fans everywhere have been left in awe of Kate Middleton after seeing a viral video of her doing a not-so-discreet shuffle during a photocall.

The royal, 41, who was recently seen beaming as she helped sort out charity donations for tots, is known for her elegance and poise in the public eye.

But eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot Kate doing what they’ve now dubbed the ‘Princess Shuffle’ while posing for pictures.

In a video captured on February 22 2022, Kate could be seen visiting Christian IX’s Palace in Denmark.

Standing alongside Queen Margrethe II of Denmark and Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark, Kate appeared to shuffle her feet to the side to get closer to the pair during the photocall.

She then turned to smile at Queen Margrethe before exchanging a few words and laughing.

TikTok user @the.royal.watcher posted the clip on social media, which sent fans wild.

“The princess shuffle! I love everything about this,” one person wrote.

Another said: “Shuffffffffle!! Discreet and elegant love you Kate,” [sic] alongside three hearts emojis.

A third joked that they would “get caught” on the carpet and “wipe out”.

Another called it a “neat trick,” which takes years of practice.

While another questioned: “Why not just step closer?”

“I feel like she was just in a goofy mood that day,” another said.

It comes as Kate is gearing up to celebrate her daughter Princess Charlotte’s birthday.

Charlotte is due to turn eight on May 2 and it’s likely she’ll stay up until midnight the night to follow a touching tradition.

When George, nine, Charlotte and their brother Louis, five, are all tucked in bed, it’s possible their doting mum will head to the kitchen to bake a very special birthday cake.

The brunette beauty’s triannual tradition first came out back in 2019, when she told Mary Berry that she “loves making the cake”.

Speaking to the pro baker during her BBC programme A Berry Royal Christmas, she said: “It’s become a bit of a tradition that I stay up ’til midnight with ridiculous amounts of cake mix and icing and I make far too much. But I love it.”

But a homemade birthday cake isn’t the only tradition Kate and her husband Prince William, 40, follow as they’re likely to release a new portrait of their daughter.
