Taylor Swift has made generous contributions to a GoFundMe campaign established for the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a victim of the tragic shooting during the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory parade.

Swift’s donations to the page amounted to a huge $100,000 and were made in the early hours of Friday morning.

The “Elizabeth Lopez-Galvan Memorial” page was created on Thursday afternoon with the aim of raising $75,000 for the family of the 44-year-old victim of the shooting.

By the early hours of Friday morning, around 1,300 individuals had already contributed to the cause.

Taylor Swift’s involvement propelled the total donations beyond the initial goal.

Swift initially donated $50,000 and then made an additional donation of the same amount just eight minutes later, ensuring the fundraiser surpassed its target.

“Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift,” wrote the singer.

Swift’s representative confirmed to Variety that the donations made by the singer, which appeared on the fundraising page under her name, were legitimate.

“This fund has been set up to benefit the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan,” reads the GoFundMe page’s text.

“Lisa was celebrating the Chiefs’ Super Bowl Victory parade when senselessly killed. She is survived by two children and her husband of 22 years. She was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to so many.”

The emotional statement continues: ‘We ask that you continue to keep her family in your prayers as we grieve the loss of her life.

“This fund will help provide vital financial support to her family as they process this unthinkable tragedy. Any amount is appreciated.”
