According to a relationship expert, Kate Middleton may harbor feelings of “competition or resentment” toward Meghan Markle, reported Mirror. The Princess of Wales and Duchess of Sussex are believed to have a strained relationship, while their husbands, Prince William and Prince Harry, are also in conflict within the royal family feud. In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, relationship expert Louella Alderson revealed that she sees “clearly unresolved issues” between Kate and Meghan.

Louella went on to suggest, “It’s plausible that Kate may have felt uneasy or displeased about the positive attention Harry and Meghan received during the Invictus Games. This could imply underlying sentiments of rivalry or resentment on Kate’s part towards Meghan.”

She further noted, “Reports of tension between Meghan and Kate have emerged since Meghan and Harry’s relationship began. These tensions have likely intensified since Meghan and Harry’s departure from the Royal Family, as well as their controversial statements in media interviews.”
Louella, co-founder of So Syncd, also commented on the negative press Harry and Meghan often face, speculating that the warmth shown towards them during the Invictus Games might have caught Kate by surprise. She emphasized that Kate is required to maintain a “graceful and composed public image” as a member of the Royal Family.

“However,” Louella continued, “underlying emotions don’t always match outward appearances. Meghan and Kate have been pitted against each other in the media, with constant comparisons. This could have added pressure and tension to their relationship, especially if either of them has a competitive nature. It’s also possible that Kate sees Meghan as a challenge to the royal family’s reputation and traditions. Kate appears to hold strong values, and Meghan’s behavior and choices may not align with Kate’s beliefs.”

Louella noted that Kate consistently maintains a dignified silence regarding controversies, but she suggested that it might be challenging for her to sustain such composure constantly. Holding back one’s thoughts, especially under constant scrutiny, can lead to a buildup of emotions that may eventually surface. Louella cited a potential example during the bridesmaid’s dress fitting before Meghan and Harry’s wedding.

However, Louella believes that the primary rift exists between Prince Harry and Prince William rather than between Kate and Meghan. As brothers, she believes there is a possibility that they will eventually find a way to reconcile and overcome their issues, which could, in turn, pave the way for some form of reconciliation between Kate and Meghan.

Nonetheless, given that Meghan and Kate weren’t particularly close friends before, it remains doubtful that they will develop a close bond in the future. Louella suggested, “At most, they may be able to maintain a cordial relationship for the sake of their husbands and children, but it’s unlikely they will become best friends anytime soon.”

“In the end,” Louella concluded, “Meghan and Kate will likely follow their husbands’ lead when it comes to reconciliation. If the brothers are able to resolve their differences, there may be a chance for the two women to do the same. However, it’s important to recognize that their relationship is intricate and layered, and a complete resolution may never be achieved. Once trust is broken in this manner, repairing it can be quite challenging.”
