Scarlett Johansson is a stunning actress and a bombshell when it comes to looks, but she is also a great actress. Sometimes, people fail to look past the pretty face, which annoys actors. ScarJo has been consistently vocal about being pigeonholed into the hypersexualized thing. She became famous for her MCU role as Natasha Romanoff, making her one of the highest-paid actresses. She was also in the news for her relationship with Ryan Reynolds. The couple was married for a brief period. Johansson is not blessed with great looks, but she also has this hoarse voice, which makes her more appealing. She made her first Marvel appearance in Iron Man 2.

Scarlett Johansson felt her career was over in her initial days of being hypersexualized. She was being objectified, and as a result, Johansson was not getting work offers for things that she wanted to do. In her interview with Dax Shepard on The Armchair Expert, she once revealed that she felt people thought of her as 40 years old and was not getting her desirable parts. Things comparitively changed for her as she became one of the most influential and top Hollywood actors.

Around a decade ago, when the actress was about 29 years old and was embracing motherhood for the first time, she opened up about hating the bombshell or s*x symbol label she was given. She told The Weekend Australian magazine, “I don’t want to be the ingénue anymore. That part I’m happy about. It’s nice to be glamorous, but I don’t want to always have to be trendy and glamorous and an object of desire. I don’t want to be stuck in that forever. Because it doesn’t last.”

The actress continued, “With [male actors], it just doesn’t happen the same way. You can be every woman’s fantasy, and nobody thinks twice about the fact that you have eight kids or whatever.”

Speaking about the prejudice women face in society regarding having a career and a kid, she added, “I want to be able to have it all. Selfishly.”

On the work front, Scarlett Johansson was last seen in Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City. She is reportedly associated with a Marvel project, but the details are unknown.
