Matt Damon is opening up about the DunKings 2024 Super Bowl commercial.

During a visit to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday, Damon, 53, was asked about filming the Dunkin’ ad alongside friends Ben Affleck, 51, and Tom Brady, 46.

The pals formed the ultimate boy band in the clip that aired during Sunday’s game in Las Vegas and showed the trio wearing hilarious orange, pink and white Boston DunKing tracksuits.

“That is clearly not my idea,” Damon laughed as Colbert, 59, showed a photo. “We had a lot of fun doing it though,” he added.

Damon then revealed the truth about the moment at the end of the commercial where he tells Affleck, “Remember how I said I would do anything for you? This is anything.”

“I actually said that to him when we were filming,” Damon laughed. “And he just left it in.”

Ben Affleck Finally Has His Own Dunkin’ Drink on the Menu Following His Super Bowl Commercial

Later in the interview, the talk show host pointed out that, “Dunkin’ actually sold these ridiculous outfits.” Colbert then proceeded to bring out a couple of the tracksuits for them to wear for the rest of the interview.

“By the way, the only qualification for being a DunKing is the willingness to put this on. So you’re in the band, you made it,” Damon told Colbert.

The ad saw the boy band surprise Affleck’s wife Jennifer Lopez in the studio while she was recording with rapper Fat Joe, drinking from a sparkly Dunkin’ cup.

The commercial also featured Jack Harlow telling Affleck in a car, “I don’t think you should do this.”

Referencing last year’s Dunkin’ Super Bowl Commercial — which saw Lopez, 54, ordering from Affleck at the drive-thru — Affleck told Harlow, 25. “Last year, she came to my work. Now, I got to show her what I can do.” The group ended up storming into Lopez’s studio to perform.

After the clip aired on Sunday, Dunkin’ dropped a 4-minute, extended version of their Super Bowl ad on Tuesday featuring Affleck and his journey to becoming a pop star.
