50 Cent claimed that Oprah was behind the cancellation of Henson’s show Empire, and that she was trying to sabotage her career.

50 Cent wrote: “Oprah is out here playing chess with these black women’s careers. She cancelled Empire and now she’s trying to stop Taraji from getting any work. She’s mad because Taraji didn’t kiss her ass like Gayle King. Oprah is a bully and a hater. She needs to stop messing with our people.”

50 Cent also shared a screenshot of an article that reported that Henson had signed a first-look deal with 20th Century Fox Television, the studio behind Empire. He congratulated Henson for securing the deal, and said that he would support her projects.

50 Cent has a history of feuding with Oprah, whom he once accused of catering to white audiences and ignoring hip-hop culture.

He also criticized Oprah for producing documentaries about sexual abuse allegations against Michael Jackson and Russell Simmons, while ignoring accusations against Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein.

Henson has not responded to 50 Cent’s post, nor has Oprah.

Henson is best known for her roles in films such as Hustle & Flow, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Hidden Figures, and The Karate Kid. She also starred as Cookie Lyon in Empire, which ran for six seasons on Fox. She won a Golden Globe and received three Emmy nominations for her performance.
