Rangers and FC Copenhagen are reportedly interested in the player.
Manchester United youngster Hannibal Mejbri could leave the squad again this summer in search of regular first-team football.
Mejbri, 21, has struggled to work his way into Erik ten Hag’s plans since the Dutchman’s arrival at Old Trafford in the summer of 2022.
The Tunisia international was reportedly involved in an ugly training ground bust-up with former teammate Alex Telles during Ralf Rangnick’s time in charge of United, shortly before Ten Hag was appointed as manager.
According to talkSPORT, Mejbri and Telles almost came to blows in a training ground disagreement in the wake of a damaging 4-0 defeat to Brighton – an incident that reportedly left their United teammates ‘stunned’.
Following that incident, Mejbri was sent on loan to Championship club Birmingham City for the 2022/23 season, making 41 appearances in all competitions.
He also spent the second half of last season on loan at Spanish club Sevilla, but managed only six appearances in La Liga.
That deal included a £17m option to buy but the Spanish club opted against triggering it, with Mejbri returning to Old Trafford.
According to The Sun (via Africafoot), Scottish club Rangers and Danish side FC Copenhagen have now expressed an interest in signing Mejbri this summer.
Rangers manager Philippe Clement was given the opportunity to take a closer look at the midfielder when United defeated the Scottish side 2-0 in a pre-season friendly at Murrayfield on Saturday, with the midfielder featuring in the second half of that game.
Mejbri is said to have been made ‘a priority’ by Clement but Rangers are playing catch-up to Copenhagen, who have already held talks with United over a potential deal for the player.
However, it is also claimed that Mejbri is not keen on moving to Denmark, opening the door for a move to Ibrox.

The report claims Ten Hag is keen to move on several players this summer, with Mejbri potentially among those deemed surplus to requirements along with Scott McTominay.
The Tunisian midfielder currently has one year remaining on his current deal at Old Trafford, with his contract extended in January before his move to Sevilla.
United are currently on tour in the United States and continue their pre-season preparations with a game against Premier League rivals Arsenal in the early hours of Sunday morning in Los Angeles.
They will then face Real Betis and Liverpool in further warm-up games before taking on rivals Manchester City in the Community Shield on August 10, ahead of their opening Premier League game against Fulham on August 16.
