Just recently, Taylor Swift experienced a major career milestone.

The Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia played host to her largest ever attendance on Friday as part of her Eras Tour.

The sold-out event drew 96,000 spectators, her highest attendance to date. Notable performances include her May 7th performance for 74,000 in New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium.

Chiefs' Travis Kelce-Taylor Swift romance going international

Swift proclaimed to the audience, “This is the biggest show that we have done on this tour or any tour I have ever done” in a video that was published on X (previously Twitter).

She continued, “That’s the me tonight, the one who’s totally awestruck by the fact that you all wanted to join us for a Friday night in Melbourne.”

Swift hasn’t performed in Australia since 2018, thus this Melbourne event marks her return. On February 17 and 18, she will be performing at the MCG. The following weekend, she will go to Sydney to play at Accor Stadium once again.

After Swift’s gig in Tokyo on Saturday, she took a plane to Las Vegas to see her boyfriend Travis Kelce play in the Super Bowl. The Kansas City Chiefs, on whom Kelce played, defeated the 49ers in the game.

Swift and Kelce went out and partied together after the game. Despite not being able to spend Valentine’s Day together, Kelce made an exception for Swift in Sin City.

As Swift’s “You Belong with Me” blasted through the club, Kelce couldn’t help but show off his dancing moves. The happy Swift proclaimed it “the most romantic thing” she had ever heard of.

Swift, Kelce, and Drew Taggart (of The Chainsmokers) and his girlfriend discussed the incident in a video. While he was in the restroom, Kelce nearly missed the song, but he returned just in time to dance with Swift.

A person familiar with Kelce’s situation revealed that he is prepared to back Swift on her tour in a cover story for PEOPLE magazine. After she cheered him on during his football season, he feels obligated to return the favor.

He lives and breathes football. It is his lifeblood. An insider told us that he is finally ready to relax and be there for Taylor the way she has been for him. “There is certainly a lot of focus on them, but Travis has effectively diverted attention and kept it on the important things.”
