Rihanna has issued a statement regarding her reported involvement in a domestic violence case — her first such public comment since brief remarks made by her label at the time of the alleged Feb. 8 incident.
The statement, released by publicity firm Rubenstein Associates, reads in full: “At the request of the authorities, Rihanna is not commenting about the incident involving Chris Brown. She wants to assure her fans that she remains strong, is doing well, and deeply appreciates the outpouring of support she has received during this difficult time.”
