Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s net worth pales in comparison to William and Kate and other royals

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s impressive net worth pales in comparison to that of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who live in a luxurious Montecito mansion with their two children – estimated to be worth around £11million – are thought to have a combined net worth of roughly £48million.

This is despite their decision to step back from Royal duties and repay the public funds used for Frogmore Cottage renovations. In May 2020, it was reported that the couple planned to repay the renovation costs for Frogmore Cottage over a period of ten years. With total refurbishment costs estimated at about £2.4million, they would need to pay approximately £18,000 per month until the debt is settled.

Prince William reportedly has a net worth of around £949million, thanks to assets like the Oval cricket ground in London and the Duchy of Cornwall he inherited when his father became king. Kate Middleton’s net worth is estimated at about £7.9million, bringing their combined total to just under £960million, according to the Express.

King Charles tops the Royal rich list, with The Sunday Times estimating his wealth at a whopping £1.8 billion. Queen Camilla’s fortune is thought to be on par with Kate’s, sitting around £7.9 million.

Princess Anne and her hubby, retired naval officer Timothy Laurence, are said to have a combined wealth nearing £16 million.

Princess Beatrice, cousin to Princes Harry and William, reportedly has assets totalling around £797,000. Her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi’s wealth remains under wraps but is rumoured to be in the millions.

After walking down the aisle with Jack Brooksbank, Princess Eugenie’s joint net worth with her husband was reported by E! News to be £3.7 million.

Zara and Mike Tindall, who don’t receive any financial support from the Crown, have an estimated combined net worth of £30 million. Rugby legend Mike has also pocketed a tidy sum from his TV appearances.

Sophie and Prince Edward, who are often seen at public events, have a net worth of approximately £42 million.
