In a recent interview, the talented Katt Williams didn’t hold back his thoughts on the ‘Kings of Comedy’ tour. He was not shy about throwing shade at big names like Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer, accusing them of hindering the success of black comedians instead of lifting them up.
With a furrowed brow and a determined look in his eyes, Williams expressed his disappointment in how the tour failed to create opportunities for emerging black comedians. “It’s like they built a big, fancy gate and kept it locked tight, not letting anyone else in,” he remarked with a hint of frustration in his voice.

He emphasized the importance of unity and support among comedians, stressing that collaboration could lead to greater achievements for everyone in the industry. “We should be standing shoulder to shoulder, not stepping on each other to get ahead,” Williams stated passionately.
His comments highlighted the struggles that black comedians often face in an industry that thrives on competition rather than camaraderie. Williams’ words struck a chord with many, shedding light on the need for change and a more inclusive approach to promoting diversity and success in comedy.
