Singer Jennifer López will come to Prime Video with her new film ‘This Is Me… Now: A Love Story’, an in-depth look at her career and romantic relationships throughout her life. This will be released on February 16, the day that her new album ‘This Is Me… Now’ will also be released, a tribute to her album produced in 2002.

The new production will have her as the protagonist and will have a cast that will help her dramatize some real aspects of her life. Among the cast, several stars stand out such as Fat Joe, Trevor Noah and Kim Petras, Post Malone, Keke Palmer, Sofía Vergara, Jenifer Lewis, Jay Shetty, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Sadhguru, Derek Hough and her husband Ben Affleck.

The trailer was released a few hours ago and the ‘On the Floor’ singer began with a voice-over, in which she expressed: “I know what they say about me, about hopeless romantics, that we are weak, but I am not weak.” 

The short film of more than two minutes revealed several moments in which their failed relationships were not successful. The scenes showed her engagements with different men, the problems they had within the relationship and a story about the eternal search for love.

“I have learned the hard way. Not all love stories have a happy ending ,” the actress expressed in her film.

A scene that marked the film was her visit with a therapist and then it cuts to the sequence of her at a party and entering with who would be her new love interest. At that moment, her friends are forced to perform an intervention on her and tell her: “We think you might be a sex addict.” 

The project focused on understanding her journey in love through her own eyes. With various fantastic, colorful scenes, the participation of various figures from the show, songs, choreographies and everything to understand the deepest secrets of her heart.

On her trip she showed herself with a support group and told details of her childhood: “Lately, I haven’t slept well, I guess I never have. When I was little I shared a room with my sister. I used to sleep very peacefully. I I stayed there, awake, thinking: ‘ How can someone sleep like that, when their heart never sleeps?’

The premiere of the film on Prime Video, on February 16, goes hand in hand with the release of the album ‘This Is Me… Now’, an ambitious project that would be a tribute to his third project, ‘This is me Then’, launched in 2002.
