Rihanna has two sons, the first named RZA Athelston Mayers and the second, named Riot Rose Mayers, who arrived on 3rd August 2023.

Baby RZA is now just over a year old and celebrated his first birthday in May. Rihanna’s boys are 15 months apart, with Rihanna announcing her second pregnancy at the 2023 Super Bowl just nine months after welcoming her first baby.

When did Rihanna give birth to her first baby?

Rihanna gave birth to her first baby boy, Rza, on May 13, 2022.

She first revealed her pregnancy in an iconic photoshoot in January of the same year, as she and A$AP strolled through New York, when she was around the 4-5 month mark.

When did Rihanna have her second baby?

Rihanna has officially welcomed her second baby, a baby boy called Riot, a name beginning with an ‘R’ just like his big brother’s. Riot was born on 3rd August 2023.

She showcased her second pregnancy for the first time in February 2023 at the Super Bowl, where she was assumed to be past the three-month mark.

Riri went on to display her growing baby bump on red carpets and multiple outings, reviving her title as a maternity style icon for a second time.
