Fury linked up with trainer Sugarhill Steward at a press conference to promote the heavyweight division’s first four-belt undisputed fight.

Also in camp with the Gypsy King is his trusted chef Greg Marriott, tasked with keeping the boxing star lean and mean.

But the pair revealed their slightly gross and unique method of getting protein into the body after a hard training session.

Fury, 35, said in an Instagram video: “Hi, Tyson Fury here, I’ve just finished a great boxing session in the gym.

“Greg, the viewers will want to know, what’s the best form of protein after the gym?”

Marriott simply put: “An egg.”

And Fury replied: “An egg? What do you mean?”

The heavyweight champion then takes his top off and allows nutritionist Marriott to smash an egg on his head.

Fury then swallows the raw egg whole and says: “That was pretty good, Greg. I need the protein but you need the calcium for your bad leg.”

Another added: “Eggcellent.”

The WBC champ was forced to pull out of his original February 17 fight date with Usyk, 37, after suffering a cut in sparring.

So it was rescheduled for just three months later, leaving workhorse Fury – who wants TEN more bouts in his career – wary of burning out.

He said: “I’m actually frightened of where I am at the moment, and that’s a fact.

“I won’t lie to you, I’m actually terrified of where I am at the moment, because I’m ready to go this weekend – and I’ve got five more weekends to go.

“So, like Sugar said, the thing is not doing tons of training, but it’s to do less, because I’m already ready.

“And if I peak too soon, then I’ll come down with an illness, a flu chest, infection, whatever – and then it’s all f****d.”
