Ice Cube Speaks On Where He Stands With Kanye West & Says He ‘Learned A Lot’ After Antisemitic Rants

Ice Cube Speaks On Kanye West

Ice Cube is letting it be known that things are all good between him and Kanye West after his antisemitic comments. In a new interview with on “Piers Morgan Uncensored” the N.W.A rapper says he believes Kanye West is doing great right now since receiving tons of backlash.

Ice cube revealed that he has spoken to Ye and he said he believes he still having fighting to have access to his money. But for other than that he’s in a great space right now. “I think he’s learned a lot from this past year, and hopefully he’ll come out better on the other side,” the “Straight Outta Compton” rapper said.

Following Kanye West’s tweet when he talked about going “death con 3” on Jewish people, Ice Cube believes he approached his feelings the wrong way. “I felt that if he was really upset with specific people that the message he was saying would kind of hijack what he’s really upset about,” he said. “That’s kind of what happened. You just can’t generalize, you have to be specific especially if you’re taking about anybody or any race.”

Back in October Ye posted on social media that, among other things, he planned to go “death con 3 on Jewish people.” This was followed by an appearance on Revolt TV’s “Drink Champs” talk show where he went on an antisemitic rant. He also said claimed George Floyd died from fentanyl instead of being killed by a police officer who actually kneeled on his neck for nearly nine minutes.

Following West’s comments, a picture that went viral online showed a banner that was hung by a white supremacist group above the 405 freeway in Los Angeles reading “Kanye is right about the Jews.” It didn’t take long for people online to react with major companies quickly ending their deals and partnership with the designer.

Not only has Ye been dropped as a client by CAA, a completed documentary about the rapper from MRC has also been shelved. According to The New York Times, Def Jam has also shared that Ye’s imprint, G.O.O.D. Music, is no longer affiliated with the label giant. On top of all that Kanye has been let go Balenciaga. Twitter and Instagram has even blocked him over antisemitic remarks.

Cube isn’t the only person speaking on the way they felt when Ye first made those comments. His ex-wife Kim Kardashian even revealed that she felt guilty after his tweets.

During a new episode of The Kardashians, Kim was having a conversation with his sister Khloe about Ye’s backlash and revealed she didn’t talk to him about it because he would “probably go off” on her. “I feel guilty that I like, posted something in support of the Jewish community, then people dropped him today? And I’m like, ‘Is that my fault that like, I posted that? And did that like, push them, and I should have just kept quiet?’” Kim told her sister. “But I’m vocal about everything else, and it’s like, I never know what to do.”
