Ice Cube at Dublin’s 3Arena: Everything you need to know
Rap icon Ice Cube is making his long-overdue return to Ireland this Saturday, December 9 at Dublin’s 3Arena.
He will perform as part of the six-date High Rollers UK and Ireland tour, with fellow rap legends The Game and Cypress Hill.
As a solo recording artist, Ice Cube has sold more than 10 million albums while remaining one of rap’s most respected and influential artists. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2016.
Beyond music, Ice Cube is a lifelong civil rights activist and has also starred in a number of movies, including the Ride Along and 21 Jump Street franchises.
Here’s everything you need to know about his Dublin date:
Are there any tickets left?
A limited number of tickets are available on Ticketmaster from €55, excluding booking fee.
When do doors open?
The doors will open at 6.30pm with the first support act coming on at 7.15pm and the show starting at 8pm.
What’s the setlist?
How do I get to the 3Arena?
Situated in the heart of Dublin’s docklands, it is very well served by public transport. Irish Rail Dart or inter-city services will bring you to Connolly or Heuston Station, from where you can hop on the Luas straight to the 3Arena.
There are extra trams on show nights to cater for the large numbers travelling to and from the venue. A full schedule and live information are available on www.luas.ie.
Dublin Bus offers a high frequency and accessible service from all over Dublin to within a 20-minute walk of the 3Arena. The 151 route runs every 10 minutes during rush hour and will leave you on Castleforbes Road, the closest stop to the venue, just a two-minute walk away. The last bus departs Castleforbes Road at 23.15pm Monday to Saturday.
For anyone driving, there is limited car parking available in The Point Village car park, but this car park is not run by 3Arena.
With large numbers gathering on show nights traffic congestion can delay your arrival and departure so it’s encouraged to use public transport where possible.
What else should I be aware of?
3Arena is a fully cashless venue and the maximum bag size limit is 40cm x 40cm x 20cm. Large rucksacks, luggage or oversized bags are not permitted. Under-16s to be accompanied by an adult and standing is strictly over-14s.
