A LEGENDARY 90s rapper will perform a huge show in Glasgow this winter.

Ice Cube, 53, is one of the architects of hip hop following his renowned work as part of the group N.W.A, alongside MC Ren, Dr. Dre and Eazy-E.

He will take to the stage at the OVO Hydro on December 5.

Also on the bill are the iconic hip hop crew Cypress Hill and rapper The Game.

Ice Cube was pivotal in writing the lyrics for the songs Straight Outta Compton and F**k tha Police on N.W.A’s groundbreaking debut record, Straight Outta Compton.

He left the group during its peak and went on to have a hugely successful solo career, selling more than 10million albums.

The award-winning artist, real name O’Shea Jackson Sr., is also an actor, director and civil rights activist.

He produced the hit 2015 biopic, Straight Outta Compton, with his son, O’Shea Jackson Sr., portraying him.

He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2016 and was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame the following year.

In 2018 Ice Cube released his most recent solo record, Everythang’s Corrupt.
