BIG3 Basketball joined forces with Nahmias for a pop-up event as part of the BIG3 Street Tour on December 19th in Los Angeles, California. The pop-up, held at SRGN Studios, marked the commencement of the BIG3 Street Tour, an experience that celebrates the convergence of sports, fashion, and entertainment. Los Angeles holds special significance as the birthplace of BIG3 Basketball, the 3-on-3 professional basketball league founded by Ice Cube and Jeff Kwatinetz. Ice Cube, reflecting on the tour kick-off in his hometown, stated, “Launching BIG3 Street in Los Angeles is like coming full circle.”

To emphasize the local connection, the BIG3 Street Tour collaborated with Doni Nahmias, a local entrepreneur, for the launch. Doni Nahmias curated a limited edition exclusive merch drop, exclusively available at the event. The collection featured two vintage collector’s edition pieces, a t-shirt, and a crewneck, catering to both basketball and fashion enthusiasts. Designer Donia Nahmias expressed her excitement about hosting Ice Cube and BIG3 in Los Angeles, stating, “He’s an OG LA legend. I’ve been watching him since I was young, and it’s special to host a basketball event with him at the surgeon studios.”

In addition to Nahmias’s involvement, the event showcased a street BIG3 tournament with teams composed of players from THE LEAGUE, a Los Angeles-based collective, complemented by BIG3 stars. Beyond the limited edition merch and the thrilling tournament, attendees enjoyed food, drinks, and various activations throughout the night, creating an unforgettable experience that celebrated Los Angeles’ profound influence on both sports and fashion.
