Since Johnny Depp won his lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard, he has only had one film role.

After that legal battle, the actor has decided to devote himself to music.

He is a member of the band Hollywood Vampires, along with singer Alice Cooper, guitarist Joe Perry and Tommy Henriksen.

On their European tour, the rock band was recently forced to cancel their show in Budapest because of a problem with Depp.

According to information published by Hungarian newspaper Blikk, paramedics had to go to the actor’s hotel to rule out further complications.

“All we have heard is that Depp was so bad that he couldn’t even leave the hotel.

We also heard that they called a doctor to see if he had something worse or that they were just overreacting like they overreact to rock stars,” a source told Blikk.

What happened to Johnny Depp in his Budapest hotel room

After cancelling the concert on July 18, the actor’s band apologised in a statement: “We love and appreciate all the fans who travelled to see us on stage and we are truly sorry. Our sincerest apologies”.

Now, the same media outlet that reported the events has stated the reason Depp was found unconscious in his Budapest hotel room just hours before the Hollywood Vampires concert.

Behind it, a substance abuse relapse. This is not the first time this has been mentioned, as Depp‘s problems with alcohol and drugs are well known, something that also came to light in the trial against Amber Heard.

It is also worth noting that the band was forced to cancel the concert on July 20, which was to be held in Slovakia.

After all that happened, the band resumed their European tour, performing in Poland on July 22 and in Germany a day later.
