Snoop Dogg has wowed wine fans by revealing he is launching a bottle of rosé.

From September 25, the Cali Rosé wine will be available in 578 Co-op stores and in selected NISA stores.

Described as ‘bright with ripe fresh red berries, complemented with delicate florals and sweetness’, he bottle will cost just £11.25.

The drink was fermented over 5,000 miles away in his native California.

Snoop Dogg, 51, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, has partnered with Treasury Wine Estates for his wine endeavour that has proved very popular.

Snoop Dogg brought his wine brand Cali by Snoop to the UK last October and his debut red wine fared well with fans – but the rapper turned business mogul is set to launch his rose in the UK

The iconic rapper claims his wine can be paired with any occasion, from warm summer spells to dreary winter nights.

In a press release, Snoop Dogg said: ‘When I launched Cali Red, it got a lot of love in the UK, and I can’t wait to see what you think of the new Cali Rosé.

‘For me, wine is all about the occasion. Whether you’re kicking back, cooking up a storm in the kitchen or sharing with the crew – sipped over ice with the playlist to match, my wine brings a little slice of that chilled Cali lifestyle’.

He continued: ‘Just like Cali Red, I created Cali Rosé to go with anything, it doesn’t need to be fancy.

‘It might surprise you that the sweet freshness of Cali Rosé is a match made in heaven for spicy foods. Spicy chicken wings, tacos, or even a curry would work.

‘And with this Rosé, there’s no bigger seal of approval than having my face on it. So go try it and see for yourself.’

Packaging will see the same label that his successful red wine saw – with his face in black and white at the forefront.

This comes months after the gangsta rapper announced a stricter attitude towards his weed intake, following the birth of his grandson Zion in 2015.

In an exclusive, the veteran rapper told MailOnline: ‘Being a grandfather has changed me in multiple ways.

‘The main way is being concerned with how I live, how I move, the kind of people I’m associated with, because I want to see my grandkids grow old.

‘The only way I can do that is to take precautionary steps as far as how I move, who I hang out with, where I go out, my intake, what am I intaking?

‘Am I doing extra-curricular or am I just doing what I’m supposed to be doing?’

The rapper is said to smoke up to 150 joints a day according to his full-time blunt roller Renegade Piranha, who earns more than $50,000-a-year just to roll them.
