Priyanka Chopra Jonas is soaking up family time as she admits that 2024 left her feeling “spent.”
In an Instagram slideshow filled with photos of her husband, Nick Jonas, and their daughter, Malti Marie, who turns 2 on Jan. 15, the actress, 41, shared that she kicked off the new year by taking “some time to feed my soul.”
“2023 had me spent.. maybe I still am,” she wrote in her caption, before sharing her hopes for the year ahead. “Here’s to a 2024 highlighted by peace, respite, family, love, joy and community. Hold your loved ones close. We are very lucky if we can. Happy new year ❤️🙏🏽.”

In the first photo, a barefoot Chopra Jonas stares at the ocean with her arm around her 31-year-old husband, who is cradling Malti, whom they welcomed via surrogate in January 2022.
The intimate photos and videos continue with the family enjoying time on the beach and inside “Casa Jonas,” a phrase emblazoned on two coconut drinks shown in another slide.
The slideshow ends with all three of them on a boat, with Malti helping her dad steer behind the wheel.

Malti, whose name wasn’t revealed publicly until three months after her birth, notably spent her first 100 days of life in the neonatal intensive care unit.
Since then, the couple has shared many photos of their daughter on their separate Instagram accounts, including one of her with her mom in British Vogue in January 2023, just after Malti’s first birthday.
“I was in the [operating room] when she came out,” Chopra Jonas told the magazine at the time, adding that Malti was delivered a trimester before her due date.
“She was so small, smaller than my hand. I saw what the intensive-care nurses do. They do God’s work,” she continued. “Nick and I were both standing there as they intubated her. I don’t know how they even found what they needed [in her tiny body] to intubate her.”
“I didn’t know if she would make it or not,” she added.
