Johnny Depp has reportedly been offered “upwards of $20 million” to renew his contract with Dior Sauvage for the next three years.

The actor, 59, may have struck the largest men’s fragrance deal in history, according to Variety.

Depp was paid nearly twice what actor Robert Pattinson earned as a spokesperson for Dior Homme, while Brad Pitt was paid $7 million to promote Chanel No. 5, the publication said.

The new deal comes after reports that his ex-wife Amber Heard fled Hollywood for Spain following their high-profile defamation trial last year.

The luxury fashion house continued working with him during his hollywood blacklisting after Heard accused him of physical abuse and sexual assault. He strongly denied the accusations.

Dior also stood by the former Pirates Of The Caribbean star throughout his highly-publicised subsequent defamation trial against the actress, although the last major campaign was in 2021.

It was ultimately found that the Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas star had been defamed by his ex, while a single statement that was made by his former lawyer Adam Waldman regarding the actress was also found to have been defamatory.

Sales of Sauvage surged during the case, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The publication stated that Depp’s cologne was among their top-selling fragrances online last year.

While he is successfully rebuilding his career, Heard has reportedly moved to Madrid with her daughter Oonagh, two for quieter life.

“I can reveal that Heard has quit Hollywood and quietly relocated to Spain with her young daughter Oonagh,” Daily Mail’s columnist Alison Boshoff claimed a friend of Heard told her.

“She’s bilingual in Spanish and is happy there, raising her daughter away from all the noise.”

“I don’t think she is in any hurry to return to work or to Hollywood, but she will probably come back when the time is right, for the right project,” the friend added.

It was revealed recently that she is set to reprise her role as Mera.

The actress’s future in the film was believed to be uncertain after she lost the six-week televised legal battle with  Depp, 59, who accused her of defaming him, last year.
