Recently, the hearing on the lawsuit between Johnny Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard continued to take place in Virginia, USA.

Here, Johnny Depp admitted that his career was in “free fall” after his ex-wife spoke out in an article about being abused and abused by her husband.

Disney bluntly removed him from the sixth part of the hit Pirates of the Caribbean series  a few days after the article was released in December 2018.

Currently, the actor is suing his ex-wife for $50 million on charges related to her fabrication of being abused by her husband.

Amber Heard’s lawyer said that Johnny Depp losing the role had nothing to do with Amber Heard.

In October 2018, there were many articles claiming that the actor was no longer chosen to play Jack Sparrow in the movie.

“I didn’t know about that article, but I wasn’t surprised. Two years have passed, and the whole world is talking about me being a wife beater.

So I’m sure Disney is trying to cut ties with me for safety. The #MeToo movement was very exciting at that time,” he said.

Amber Heard first accused Johnny Depp of domestic violence when she filed for a restraining order in 2016.

Those claims were settled during the couple’s divorce months later.

But in the end, he agreed to pay her $7 million – the amount the actress promised to donate to charity to settle the divorce.

“The advice I received from the lawyers was to make a deal. I didn’t have many options,” he said.

Johnny Depp’s lawsuit accuses Amber Heard of ruining his career by giving an interview to the Washington Post .

“I would be a fool if I thought Amber Heard’s articles wouldn’t affect my career, whether my name was in the article or not,” Johnny said.

“Once Amber Heard speaks up, no matter what is right or wrong, my career will be over”. Regardless of the outcome of this trial, I will cower for the remaining days of my life…

I will sue Amber for defamation and the various falsehoods she used to “end” my life,” Johnny said his career was over since Amber Heard “pulled” him into a second legal proceeding.

After years of delay, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard finally went to court in Fairfax County, Virginia (USA) in April to argue about the lawsuit between the two.

The actor sued his ex-wife for $50 million for defamation. Amber Heard then sued him for $100 million for the same crime.

During the first days of litigation, Amber Heard’s side first accused Depp of sexual assault.

Many witnesses who worked with the two people, such as doctors, nurses, neighbors, and security staff, supported Depp and said they had never seen the actress show signs of being abused.

However, they confirmed that the couple had conflicts and often argued during their relationship.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been dating since filming the movie  The Rum Diary  (2011) and got married in February 2015.

Three months after the wedding, Heard filed a petition in court asking for the right to ban Johnny from coming near her and accused him of verbally and physically abusing her.

Depp responded that he was the one who was abused by his wife. The two sides argued and spoke ill of each other for many months before completing the divorce in 2016.
