The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor sued Amber Heard for defamation when he accused him of domestic violence, and asked the “Aquaman” beauty to pay 50 million USD  in compensation.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s 2016 divorce still interests the public.

Their relationship continued to be tense when the Pirates of the Caribbean actor sued his ex-wife for defamation, demanding compensation of up to 50 million USD .

The lawsuit stemmed from Johnny Depp’s frustration over his ex-wife’s article about domestic violence in the Washington Post in December 2018.

In it, Amber wrote that she spoke out as a victim of abuse and that the actress had received many death threats after accusing her husband of beating her.

Johnny Depp has filed a lawsuit against Amber Heard for defamation.

According to The Blast, Depp described Heard’s accusations of domestic violence as an “elaborate hoax”.

“Mr. Depp never beat Heard. Her accusations are false. It was just part of a hoax to help Heard advance her career ,” the lawsuit said.

The lawsuit states that although Amber never mentioned Johnny Depp’s name, everyone clearly thought of him because Amber once accused her husband of violence during their divorce.

This has seriously affected the actor’s honor and image, and damaged the film projects in which Johnny participated.

In this lawsuit, Depp also affirmed that the accusation that the Aquaman beauty previously sent to court was rejected by the police because there were third-party witnesses and 87 surveillance cameras as evidence.

Amber Heard arrived in court with dark circles on her face in June 2016.

Johnny Depp’s lawyer affirmed that Amber Heard was not a victim of domestic violence but “the perpetrator”.

Johnny’s side said that the Aquaman actress made up the story of being beaten and faked a bruised face during an argument in May 2016.

And yet, according to The Blast, Depp counter-accused his ex-wife of having an affair with technology billionaire Elon Musk when he and Heard were only married for less than a month.

This source said that the Pirates of the Caribbean actor has enough evidence in this matter.

“Heard asked security to allow ‘Elon’s friend’ to enter the parking lot and use the elevator late at night to get to the building. Representative Depp then chased the security guards out of the court. They saw Elon leave. out of this place the next morning ,” the source added.

Amber Heard’s side has not yet responded to the lawsuit. Previously, Amber had repeatedly told about being physically and mentally abused by Johnny Depp during their 15 months of marriage.

Sharing on The Hollywood Reporter in December 2018, the 32-year-old beauty described that during her marriage, she was very afraid of her husband: “Johnny and I used to talk about ‘the other person’ in him – that part of his personality. was present when he hit me – we call it the monster. I was paralyzed before that monster” .

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s noisy divorce shows no signs of ending.

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp got married in March 2015. In May 2016, Amber filed for divorce, accusing her husband of abusing her. In January 2017, the divorce was completed.

Amber Heard received $7 million from Johnny Depp and she donated all of this money to the Los Angeles Children’s Hospital and domestic violence prevention funds.
