Johnny Depp is back.

The 60-year-old Pirates Of The Caribbean actor was seen in a new commercial called The Call Of The Blazing Sun for the Dior fragrance Sauvage.

He talked about eagles, the sky, dry wood and the cold wind in a moody clip.

‘Bold and powerful, in his essence, his truth, embodies the soul of Sauvage,’ Dior said on Instagram. The brand also called him ‘fearless.’

The Hollywood star looked gypsy handsome in his black clothing with his silver jewelry and his long hair worn down.

The ex of Vanessa Paradis was reportedly paid an eye-watering $20million to reup his contract with the French company earlier this year.

He first signed on as the face of Sauvage in 2015.

Depp – whose daughter Lily-Rose Depp dates 070 Shake – had on a black button-down vest over a black collared shirt with silver chains dancing down his chest.

Johnny added black coated denim jeans with silver buttons on the pockets.

He seemed to have on some eyeliner – which his POTC character Jack Sparrow was known for – as well as a deep Malibu tan.

The red carpet wonder had manicured facial hair that  included a mustache with a scruffy goatee.

The ads were shared by Christian Dior on social media on Thursday.

In May it was reported that the What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? actor would continue serving as the face of Dior Sauvage, after signing a three-year contract ‘upwards of $20 million.’

The publication pointed out he was paid nearly twice what Robert Pattinson earned as a spokesperson for Dior Homme.

Similarly, Brad Pitt was paid $7 million to promote Chanel No. 5.

A source told the outlet that ‘most A-listers with fragrance deals pull in around $2 million-$4 million per year like Chris Pine, whose deal with Armani is valued at $4 million a year over 3 years.’

Depp first became the face of the men’s scent in 2015, and continued working with the luxury fashion house amid his legal woes with Heard, who accused him of physical abuse and sexual assault.

Dior stood by Johnny throughout his trial, and sales of the cologne he advertises, Sauvage, rose at retailers, the Wall Street Journal reported in June 2022.

The publication stated that Depp’s cologne was among their top-selling fragrances online last year.

Johnny and Amber were married from 2015 until 2017, and the Pineapple Express actress alleged that the Pirates Of The Caribbean star had been physically abusive over the course of their marriage, which he denied.

Heard also had an op-ed published by The Washington Post in 2018, in which she outlined how she felt as if speaking out about the alleged abuse she suffered during her marriage negatively affected her career.

The actress went on to file suit against News Group Newspapers for printing various allegations about his marriage through The Sun in 2020, although he ultimately lost his case.

Depp went on to sue his former wife for defamation regarding the op-ed in 2019, and she followed suit before their trial began in July of last year.

It was ultimately found that the Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas star had been defamed by his ex, while a single statement that was made by his former lawyer Adam Waldman regarding the actress was also found to have been defamatory.

While both parties made appeals regarding the judgements, they dropped them and settled the case in December of last year, when it was decided that the actor would receive $1 million from his former spouse’s insurance company.

Heard subsequently released a statement regarding the settlement and expressed via BBC that she had ‘lost faith in the American legal system.’
