Camila Cabello opted not to walk the red carpet with beau Shawn Mendes at Sunday’s Grammy Awards.

And it appears the Havana artist had another man on her mind at the star-studded awards show in Los Angeles – her dad, Alejandro.

She brought the audience to tears as she dedicated a moving performance of First Man to her father, looking into his eyes as she serenaded him.

Daddy’s girl: Camila Cabello walked down into the Grammys audience to sing directly to her tuxedo-clad father Alejandro, seated in the front row

Brought to tears: Like many of the audience (including Gwen Stefani), the proud dad was brought to tears during the performance

Hug it out: Father and daughter shared a sweet hug as the song ended and the room erupted in applause

The 22-year-old was introduced by comedian Jim Gaffigan, who acknowledged his own relationship with his daughter before welcoming Cabello to the stage.

She walked out in a dazzling blush mini dress with silver sequined stripes and beaded straps into a thick choker.

It was belted with more pink beads over a matching floor-length sheer robe with a four-foot train.

She completed the look with matching chunky strappy heels, which she showed off as she walked down the steps, the train dragging behind her.

Camila gave a beautiful performance of the emotional track from her second solo studio album Romance.

It was accompanied by old photos and home videos of Camila and her dad projected on the wall behind her.

Paying tribute: She later returned to the stage for a group number in tribute to Grammy producer Kenneth Ehrlich, who stepped down after 40 years running the awards show

Remember her name: Camila donned a sparkling yellow dress with a thigh-high leg slit as she joined Ben Platt, Cyndi Lauper and others for I Sing the Body Electric from the 1980 film Fame

The brunette beauty shared the video to Instagram with a sweet caption: ‘I dedicate this to all dads out there – the ones that are with us and the ones that aren’t anymore but that we will always have in our hearts.’
