The Variety red carpet interview happened after Eilish posted a video of her tongue kissing actress  Odessa A’zion on November 16, three days after saying she was ‘physically attracted’ to women

This isn’t the first time Eilish had a steep decline in Instagram followers.

The artist lost nearly 150,000 Instagram followers within the week following her posting a racy video tongue kissing actress Odessa A’zion on November 16.

The Instagram clip that was quickly deleted was posted just three days after her cover story with Variety was released, where the singer said she was ‘physically attracted’ to women.

The singer’s Instagram follower count began increasing again on November 24, and had steadily improved for six days straight.

However, because of her latest follower decline, Eilish has now lost more than 200,000 followers in 30 days.

She still has over 110 million followers and is among the top 40 Instagram users to have the most followers on the social media platform.
