Billie Eilish has hit back after an edited photo of her hair went viral over Halloween.

Last week fans circulated a photo of the singer with what appeared to be a new hair colour.

The star, who often switches up her hair, added bright red roots to her jet black locks last month.

But in the new photo she appeared to have had orange and green strands added too.

Fans soon began comparing the unusual dye-job to a weather map with one quipping on X, formerly known as Twitter: ‘It’s giving Accuweather.’

Another insisted: ‘All I see is a heatmap.’

It’s now been revealed that the photo was edited, with Billie responding to the weather map comparisons on her Insatgram Stories.

She reposted an article about the  hairdo and said ‘y’all just be making s**t up’.

Billie shocked her fans last month by sharing a glimpse of her huge new back tattoo on Instagram.

The 21-year-old casually posted the image as part of a round up, but it quickly riled up some of her 110 million followers.

The striking picture showed the Grammy-winning superstar lying on her stomach with her bare back fully displayed.

The new ink stretches from the nape of her neck all the way beyond the small of her back.

One person online wrote about the body art, ‘Hate to be like this but…what is it? what am I supposed to see?’
