When singers take the music world by storm as part of a boy band like NSYNC, that often puts a clock on their career. However, Justin Timberlake is such a talented performer and showman that he continued to amass millions of fans as a solo star.

However, Timberlake has become more controversial because his scandals have built up over recent years. A perfect example of that is the fact that Timberlake angered many fans with his unrelatable parenting complaint.

Justin Timberlake Complained About Being A Full-Time Parent

In 2020, the animated movie Trolls World Tour was released with Justin Timberlake in a starring role. During the process of promoting that film, Timberlake was asked a question that resulted in him making many of his fans angry.

Since the world was in the middle of COVID-19 shutdowns at that time, Timberlake was interviewed about Trolls World Tour over Zoom. During one of his interviews, the hosts of SiriusXM’s “The Morning Mash Up” show talked to Timberlake about his quarantine situation.

While talking about what it was like for his family to be quarantined together, Timberlake eventually talked about being a parent. The year this interview took place, Timberlake’s son Silas turned five years old.

While talking about raising Silas during the quarantine, Timberlake said something that infuriated many observers who are parents.

Taylor Swift and Justin Timberlake had a lovely meet-and-greet session years ago, enough to create room for a meaningful rapport in the future.

“We’re mostly commiserating over the fact that, uh, we, just 24-hour parenting is not human. It’s not.”

This quote upset many observers for a couple of reasons. First of which is the implication that Timberlake thinks that to parent without nannies somehow is “not human”.

As a rich and famous music superstar who is married to a wealthy actor, Timberlake can enjoy a lifestyle most people can’t. A perfect example of that is the fact that Timberlake and Biel certainly can afford to hire nannies.

In complete fairness to Timberlake and Biel, the fact is that they both have busy schedules that include a lot of travel for work. With that in mind, it may be functionally impossible for them to both maintain their careers without nannies to help.

That said, the vast majority of parents can’t afford nannies, so that is hard for a lot of people to relate to. On top of that, there are a staggering number of parents in the world who are responsible for their children 24 hours a day.

The second reason that many observers were upset with Timberlake’s comments stems from where the pop star lives with his family.
