Dua Lipa is set to become Britain’s top-earning female singer as her business topped Adele’s earnings last year – with the singer remaining on track to become a ‘billionaire by 40’

Records show Dua’s business earned almost £68 million last year, reportedly topping the amount her fellow Brit Adele brought in the UK.

The Sun reported Radical22 Ltd had been raking it in, according to Companies House papers, after it was revealed Dua, 28, and her businessman dad, Dukagjin, known as Dugi, were teaming up so he could help manage all her commercial assets.

Radical22 is said to have had net assets of £29.9 million in December 2022, which is almost three times the amount (£11.6 million) it had in 2019.

The company made an increased profit of £8.3 million in a year from the year prior in 2021.

Radical22 has a reported £9.84 million in cash after being worth less than £500,000 in 2016, as well as investments worth more than £21 million, reported The Sun.

Radical22 Live was also said to have had assets worth £32.48 million in 2021, which rose to £38.56 million in 2022.

Adele’s companies’ assets were said to have hit £50 million following the success of her fourth album 30, which was released towards the end of 2021.

Dua’s rep declined to comment when approached by Mail Online.

Despite Dua’s huge success, Adele is still on top in terms of her total fortune.

According to the 2023 Sunday Times Rich List, the Hello hitmaker, 35 – who is one of the most successful female artists of all time – is thought to have a reported net worth of around £165 million, up £15 million from 2022.

Dua’s net worth, on the other hand, is thought to have hit around £27.5 million at the end of 2022.

The news comes after Dua released her highly-anticipated track, Houdini, back in November.

The release of Houdini comes after it was reported that Dua was set to become the wealthiest British female pop star after it was revealed she was parting ways with her management company Tap.

After it was revealed she had teamed up with her dad Dugi, it’s thought she could be on track to ‘become a billionaire’.

A source told The Sun : ‘Dua wants to take back control of her career and Dugi is very hands-on.

‘He felt like she was giving away too high a percentage of her earnings, and after becoming her manager he felt the next logical step was to come in as an official business partner.’

While a few in the industry have been comparing her and her father’s relationship to that between Taylor Swift and Scooter Braun, the source assured that although firm, Dugi will prioritise his daughter’s best interests.

Discussing Dua’s new strategy to ensure she possesses ownership of her songs, the source explained: ‘Essentially, the move also has echoes of Taylor Swift — a huge female pop star rewriting the narrative and making money on her own terms

‘By the time she’s 40, Dua could be a billionaire.’
