Adele Finally Revealed What She Really Said During The Super Bowl About Rihanna, And A Few People’s Guesses Were Righ

And if you were watching the Big Game in its entirety, you likely saw footage of Adele in the stands, getting ready for Rihanna’s performance.

As it often happens, basically every single thing Adele did on camera became a meme.

One particular meme centered around Adele seemingly saying…something, possibly about her anticipation for Rihanna’s performance.
Some even had their own theories as to what Adele was saying.

Well, Adele finally revealed what she was saying during a recent performance as part of her Las Vegas residency — and, as it turns out, the guesses weren’t too far off!

“It’s hard work being a constant meme,” Adele said of her Super Bowl moments, theorizing that the reason she gets meme’d so often is because she doesn’t have Botox and “my face just moves so much.”

Adele then revealed that someone sent her the meme of her talking, before explaining what she was actually saying.

“I was saying, she’s gonna be fine,” Adele explained. “She’s gonna have some weed and be fine.”

“But clearly she couldn’t have any weed because she was pregnant!” Adele added, which is true!
