Johnny Depp Fans Obliterate Amber Heard Movie’s Streaming Debut

Fans hate on Jason Momoa’s 2018, Aquaman, after it recently make its streaming debut.

The Aquaman franchise is finding it very difficult to exist outside of the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard controversy.

The failure of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom can be credited, to some extent, to the presence of Heard in the film.

Finding itself wrapped up in the personal life of the actress, the film’s performance was tampered with after she was featured in the film despite losing the defamation case against Depp.

Fans were extremely upset with this fact, so much so, that they collectively decided to boycott this film.

It would seem, that this sentiment has not been exempted to any film that she is in, including the first part of this series.

It was recently announced that the 2018 film will be making its way onto Netflix as its streaming debut. One would expect audiences to be ecstatic about this considering this is one of the best doing DCEU films. However, this was not the case.

Aquaman Makes Its Streaming Debut

Jason Momoa’s Aquaman was quite an excellent film by DC Studios.

It had an impeccable cast, visually stunning CGI, and an extremely interesting story.

On top of this, it managed to redeem a mediocre character who was no one’s favorite in the comics.

These are all the things that audiences love about this film. At least they did, until now.

There is a lot of evidence that proves just how much audiences adored this film, with the biggest being the fact that it earned $1.152 billion worldwide.

This is, perhaps the reason why it took this long for this movie to make its way onto streaming services.

However, now that it has, finally been made available to be watched on Netflix, fans seem to have had a change of heart.

Fans Criticize Aquaman

The opinions and the general feelings that fans have towards Jason Momoa’s Aquaman have changed drastically since its initial release in 2018.

Since the announcement of its arrival on Netflix hit the internet, many have gone onto platforms like X to express their opinions on the matter.

One fan simply called the film ugly-looking, expressing that they believed the jokes, the script, and the acting of its cast were very poor.

It’s just ugly. The scene in Sicily is okay, but the lights, the jokes, the acting, the script make me vomit.

to those who havent seen it: dont waste your time. this film was so goddamn awful

Thanks for letting me know, I’ve seen it once and even that was too many times

You could learn a language rather than waste your time watching this.

Many fans were warning those who had not seen the movie to not watch it, referring to it as an awful film.

Some were underwhelmed by this news, stating that the film wasn’t worth a watch in 2018, so why would it be worth a watch now?

One fan even went as far as to say that the time they would spend watching this film could be better used on things like learning a language.

It is safe to say that the feelings that fans now have toward a once-beloved film are not positive.
