The future’s looking bright for Brad Pitt on the romantic front, but it doesn’t come without its share of potential pitfalls and difficulties.
At least that’s according to rumors suggesting that the A-lister has yet to introduce his kids to new girlfriend Ines De Ramon.
Reports regarding the couple’s getting together first gained traction last year, and things have moved on a great deal since then.
The latest on the grapevine is that the pair are even considering settling down and starting a family together, though there remains a fairly large hurdle before such talk can near the realms of possibility.
In November of last year, a source is said to have spoken to PEOPLE and described Ines De Ramon, ex-wife of actor Paul Wesley, as “Brad’s first proper relationship since the divorce” from Angelina Jolie.
Indeed, the Troy star is said to have started introducing the 32-year-old as his girlfriend.
“He introduces [Ines] as his girlfriend,” an insider PEOPLE. “It’s great to see him in a good place. Ines makes him very happy.”
Fresher rumors put forward by Radar Online go as far as to claim that Pitt has his eye set on tying the knot with jewelry designer Ramon despite the fact that they’ve been together less than two years.
The report in question does state that the Troy star wants to proceed extremely carefully after his costly divorce from Jolie – as well as the ongoing legal fees linked to the grievances of his former marriage – and to that end will insist upon a watertight prenup.
Not only that, but the National Enquirer add that Ines has yet to meet all of Pitt’s children, with the reason being that Pitt fears the potential response from his ex-wife.
“Brad’s walking on eggshells when it comes to introducing his children to his new girlfriend,” a source told National Enquirer. “The caution stems from a desire to avoid additional tensions with Angie.”
They added: “She’s not just the kids’ mother, she’s their best friend. Can you imagine what a meeting would be like between the kids and Ines? No wonder he’s in no rush to make the introductions!”
Famously dubbed ‘Brangelina’ in the media, Pitt and Jolie fell in love on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, embarking on a romance that stole headlines all over the world.
In 2016, however, Jolie filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. She also moved to request sole custody of the pairs six children, Maddox, Pax, Shiloh, Zahara, Vivienne and Knox.
It’s Jolie who is often seen with the couple’s children in public, while Brad hasn’t been photographed with his brood in a long time.
The custody battle between the former lovers – regarding the younger children – is yet ongoing, with reports suggesting that Angelina is vying to drag the case out until twins Vivienne and Knox turn 18.
