Jones claimed Sanders’ presence is good for the development of college football.

Deion Sanders‘ heroics in the college football scenario have put NFL teams on high alert. Even his old boss, Jerry Jones, seemed to have his eyes on the former Cowboy.
Sanders played five seasons in Dallas and was part of the last Cowboys team to win the Super Bowl in 1995. Regarded as one of the greats ever to grace the star helmet, Prime Time brought the spark that it had been lacking all those years.
It’s not much of a surprise that even after all those years, the 56-year-old still got it. The charm, the confidence, and the exuberance Deion Sanders brings to football are unrivaled. Not only that, he has backed up his credentials with consecutive wins to silence the doubters. That’s the reason why Jerry Jones called Sanders “a hell of a coach” and was asked about the possibility of him coaching in the NFL.
“He influences people, and of course, that’s part of it in the NFL,” Jones said, as per FOX News. “But I don’t want to go there because you know where that starts going every which way. [Deion] can influence, with his stature and his substance work, on an individual basis. I’m a product of that with him.”
Jerry Jones said he watched every play of Colorado’s win over Colorado State last night. He said Deion Sanders is “a hell of a coach.”
Could Jerry see Deion coaching in the NFL?

Last December, the Super Bowl winner joined the Colorado Buffaloes, which raised a lot of eyebrows. The Buffs were ranked 18 (now 19) in the AP power rankings of NCAA football teams. So everyone was confused as to why Sanders would go there of all places.
On top of that, he made a drastic overhaul of the roster by signing almost 60 new players. It begged the question of whether he was making a big mistake. However, three wins from three continue to prove that he can coach.
Deion Sanders has no intention of coaching in the NFL
The NFL does need a bit of swagger, like Deion Sanders. But fans of the game have to wait until he changes because, for now, he has no intention of making the switch to the big league.

“I would never do that,” Sanders told Rich Eisen in a recent interview. “I love college because young men are still impressionable.”

He claimed that young players are eager to learn and don’t have financial constraints that will sway their judgment. On the flip side, he will face more challenges when coaching professional players.
That doesn’t mean Deion Sanders never had aspirations of managing an NFL team. In 2003, he reportedly reached out to the Atlanta Falcons for the coaching gig. But as per ESPN.com, the owners never answered his plea.
