NFL star Jason Kelce had an emotional embrace with his wife Kylie after he left the field for the final time on Monday evening.

The Philadelphia Eagles center made a point of going over to Kylie, as well as his dad Ed, after his team’s playoff defeat to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Both Jason and Kylie were in tears as they warmly touched hands before he went to the locker room at Raymond James Stadium.

Shortly afterward, Jason reportedly told his teammates that he was retiring from the NFL after a Hall of Fame career.

In retirement, Jason will have plenty of business opportunities, including coaching, broadcasting, and developing his New Heights Podcast with brother Travis.

But he will also make a point of spending more time with Kylie and their three daughters: Bennett, Elliotte, and Wyatt.

Kylie and Jason have been married since 2018 after famously meeting on Tinder, as explored on the Eagles legend’s Prime Video documentary Kelce.

Kylie admitted that she did not know that the person she matched with on the dating site was an NFL star.

“None of his pictures showed Eagles football,” she said.

The first date did not go according to plan at all.

“Forty-five minutes later, he fell asleep at the bar, like just, out, like asleep, asleep,” she said.

“The next day, he called and was like, ‘Can we try that again?’”

The couple went Instagram official in November 2015 and were married in April 2018.

During a recent episode of New Heights, Kylie revealed a hilarious story about how the NFL star proposed to her.

She said Jason faked using the bathroom to run back into her parents’ house to ask for their permission to marry her.

According to Kylie, the two were in the car preparing to leave at her parents’ house when Jason put his master plan into action.

Despite being married to a high-profile NFL star, Kylie prefers to live her life almost completely under the radar.

“It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of the camera,” she recently said.

She makes a point of sitting in the stands rather than in executive boxes, as she did for the Eagles’ playoff loss to the Buccaneers.

“I’m a stands girl,” Kylie told Spectrum News.

“I love sitting in the stands, cheering with the fans, even if it’s in an opposing team stadium.”

Kylie is particularly looking forward to Jason’s retirement so he can spend more time with their children.

“I don’t think that people realize the beating you’re taking then impacts the way you interact with your family,” she said in Kelce.

“I always tell people, no matter what happens with football, how it ends, I would like him to retire when he is still able to get down on the floor and play with our kids comfortably.”
