Blue Ivy indicated that she’s a fashionista in the making when she debuted a gorgeous white gown at the 2024 Grammy Awards ceremony on Sunday.

The 12-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay Z — who already has a Grammy to her name — showcased the elegant Vivienne Westwood item onstage at the Crypto.com

She was accompanying her father as he accepted the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award and bashed the awards show for never honoring Beyoncé with the coveted album of the year award.

Blue Ivy’s appearance shocked many of her family’s fans on social media, who were shocked by how mature the rising star looked in her elegant evening wear.

The singer — who skipped the red carpet like her mother — glowed in the lustrous cream-colored dress, which featured rumpled straps that sat just below her shoulders.

Blue Ivy’s dress was ruched around her midriff, and the voluminous skirt terminated at mid-knee.

She contrasted the elegant dress with more casual rumpled white platform Larroude Dolly boots — which run for about $475 — to supersize her height, and she accessorized with a brilliant white clutch.

The dance star — who won over audiences with her moves during several of her mother’s Renaissance Tour stops — contrasted Beyoncé’s thick curls and waves with long box braids parted down the middle that gradually unraveled around her midriff.

Fans of Blue’s mother and father were shocked by just how mature she appeared to be when she appeared on stage.

One joked that she was ‘growing like a weed’ and said she was just ‘a few inches shorter than Jay.’

‘When did Blue Ivy grow up and get so tall, my jaw dropped when I saw her,’ wrote another shocked fan. ‘She looks like a beautiful young women and dressed so elegant wow [sic].’

One social media user was even more blunt.

‘When the hell did Blue Ivy get so tall???’ they wrote.

‘Is Jay Z short or is Blue Ivy tall?’ joked another person.

The Huffpost deputy editor Philip Lewis marveled that ‘Blue Ivy will be 30 and I’ll still be like “when did she get so big?”‘

‘Blue Ivy has grown up to be such a beautiful young lady, we literally watched her grow uppp,’ echoed another fan.

Some fans couldn’t believe that Blue Ivy was only 12 considering how elegant her Grammys attire was.

During the ceremony, Jay shared a sweet kiss and a warm embrace with his wife as she rose to accept his honorary Grammy award.

The rapper was awarded the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award for his contributions to the music industry.

However, he wasn’t feeling gracious when it came time to do his acceptance speech.

He used the time to bash the Grammys for failing to ever award his wife with the coveted album of the year award, despite her being nominated in the category multiple times.

The Grammys haven’t ignored Beyoncé by any means, as she has more Grammy wins that any other artist after securing the record during the 2023 ceremony.

However, many of her wins have been for smaller awards and for specific genre prizes, while the top award of the year has routinely gone to other artists.

Jay’s tirade was witnessed up close by their daughter Blue Ivy, who had joined him on stage.

‘I don’t want to embarrass this young lady, but she has more Grammys than everyone and never won album of the year,’ he said. ‘So even by your own metrics, that doesn’t work. Think about that. The most Grammys; never won Album of the Year. That doesn’t work.’

The camera cut to Beyoncé, who looked slightly apprehensive in the audience.

Hosted by Trevor Noah, this year’s celebration aired on CBS and its streaming service Paramount+.

SZA top the nominations with a total of nine nods, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song Of The Year. Taylor Swift followed close behind with six nominations, and was also be competing against SZA in the three aforementioned categories.

The majority of Swift’s nominations were for her acclaimed album Midnights and its single Anti-Hero, which earned some of the best reviews of her career.

That track was up for Record of the Year, a category that honors the artists who recorded the song and its producers and engineers, as well as for the Song of the Year category, which honors songwriters. SZA’s track Kill Bill was also nominated in both categories.

Swift previously made history in the Album of the Year category, currently tied for three previous wins with music legends Frank Sinatra, Paul Simon and Stevie Wonder.

However, her latest win made her the first-ever person to win the category four times.

Billie Eilish and Miley Cyrus are were also both up for six awards. Eilish’s nominations included Song and Record of the Year for her hit single from the Barbie soundtrack, What Was I Made For?

Cyrus finally won her first ever Grammy this year.
